Determine Length of spring(s) from coil to coil only. (Don't measure silver end cones) 2. Determine Coil Diameter: Count all coils or winds from end to end within the length in step 1. 3. Determine Inside Diameter: You have two silver cones on your spring(s) The cone that is mounted near the center has numbers etched or embossed on the outer edge. ie. 175 or 200, 225 etc Indicates Inside Diameter or I.D. TORSION SPRING SHOWN BELOW Note: Left Hand Wound Torsion Spring Shown in Diagram Proper Orientation: Standing in the Garage looking out to the driveway Right side of center is Left Wind Left side of center is Right Wind Please note: set screws are always red, and cones may not be colored at all If you need assistance determining winding, please call 714-552-9477 (Please be certain both springs are the same in measurement.)
